Q. Why choose the PRO Mount?
A. The PRO Mount is ideal for public display or retail signage projects
where a certain amount of tilt is necessary. The Q-Latch™ design allows either
portrait or landscape installations, multiple accessories, including an option
to lock the display to the mount for unbeatable security. The PRO Series Mount
is able to easily accommodate most applications.
Q. Do I need to order a separate interface bracket?
A. No, the PRO Mount ships as a complete assembly that includes the
interface bracket. Determine which part number will accommodate your display
by looking up the manufacturer and model number in the cross-reference chart.
Q. Does the PRO allow the screen to be viewed in portrait mode?
A. Yes. Some Pitch adjustment may be reduced in the portrait view.
Q. How does the lateral shift accessory work?
A. The PAC-125 accessory will allow spanning a 24 on-center stud
system or provide 4 lateral shift on either side of 16 on-center studs.
Q. Can I lock my Large Flat Panel Display to the mount?
A. Yes, Chief’s exclusive Q-Latch™ Mounting System engages the latch
around the Q-button for a positive connection, preventing accidental
dislodging of the display. When theft is a concern, Chief offers additional
PAC-130 and PAC-135 locking flag accessories, allowing the display to be
securely padlocked to the mount.
